Those clever people at Intertronics have again brought forward an
exciting development in fluid dispensing – this time the Fisnar DV509.
Intended primarily for medical applications this is a lightweight
diaphragm valve designed for precise flow control of low to medium
viscosity liquids on a continuous 24/7 basis. The PTFE diaphragm
separates the wetted parts from the air supply and therefore it is ideal
for dispensing cyanoacrylates, reagents, UV adhesives, paints, inks,
solvents, glues, electrolytes, alcohol and other volatile substances.
Variants with stainless steel and UHMW bodies/diaphragm are also
available.

The DV509 is ideal for dots, lines, arcs and circles for gaskets,
potting, filling and shielding. It features heavy duty pneumatic
operation which ensures flow rates up to 5ml/sec as fast as 200 cpm and
with fine tuned shot sizes down to 0.0001ml.

This range of features enables the DV509 to be comfortably integrated
into automated systems and to encompass hazardous materials if required.
