Krauss Maffei to promote plastics packaging expertise during Drinktec 2009

Krauss Maffei of Munich Germany will promote their plastics Injection
moulding beverage packaging expertise during the Drinktec exhibition
which will be held in Munich from the 14th to 19th of September 2009.

On demonstration at their nearby Allach facility will be three exhibits
featuring the following technologies:-

* Bottle closure manufacturing using a EX (all electric) Z clamp toggle
machine producing a PC01810 design carbonated beverage closure from a 24
cavity mould at less than 2.7 seconds cycle.

* PET bottle preform manufacturing using a KM320-4500CS PETFORM machine
producing a 27gm hot-fill 27 gm preform from a 96 cavity mould at a 17
seconds cycle

* Bottle crates for 12 x 1L bottle will be manufactured on a MX1000-17200
machine utilizing a twin cavity mould including 'in mould labelling' and
robotic part handling.

Krauss Maffei can be found at Hall B3, Booth 408 where tours can be
arranged for viewing the exhibits in production.

Krauss Maffei is one of Europe's largest plastics processing machine
manufacturers and produce state-of-the art Injection Moulding machines,
Extruders and Ancilliary equipment and is represented in Oceania by HBM
Plastics Technologies.
