Manufacturing projects and their front-end development require very quick
completion times in today’s economic environment - and thanks to the nice
people at Fastening Solutions Exhibition this is now much easier. Hands-
on resolution is seen as a unique aspect of this show- on April 30th at
RAF Museum Cosford - where fastening or assembly problems will be
addressed, by a galaxy of the top people in the field. At the show,
design and production engineers from industries as diverse as electronics
or building, electrical or mechanical, will find expert consultation
available.
Will it fit in the space available? Will it work in field conditions? How
does it sequence with the rest of my production cycle? Does the supply
chain support my delivery commitments? What about the dissimilar
materials being used? What pull-through resistance is there? What about
the effects of heat or cold? Does it meet relevant standards for this
project? - all these questions and more are raised by OEMs looking at
fastening and assembly of their new designs and projects. Talking to a
large number of experts in the fastening field all in the same place at
the same time is the quickest and most immediately rewarding way of
having such queries answered, and there are plenty of these experts
freely available at the forthcoming Fastening & Assembly Solutions
Exhibition (RAF Museum Cosford, April 30th 2008).
Organiser Mark Newby explains “One of the key attributes of this unique
exhibition is the availability of instant fastening answers for
manufacturing professionals. Most of the leading suppliers in the field
of fastening and assembly are exhibiting, and they all welcome the
opportunity to work closely with design and production professionals who
want to solve problems. It is not uncommon to see show visitors arrive
carrying samples of their troublesome products for expert analysis, or
drawings of their proposed new project to pore over, as the ideal
fastening solution is sought with the best brains in the business. It is
that kind of show.”
Analysis of feedback from previous shows confirms that visitors from all
industries find real solutions to real problems when they “get down and
technical” in this unique problem solving environment. So whether the
problem is in automotive, electronics, aerospace, machinery, processing
or other branch of manufacturing - and whatever the likely solution -
adhesive, threaded, rivet, moulded, metal, plastic or composite -
engineers are encouraged to visit Fastening and Assembly Solutions for a
friendly “one-to-many” consultation. Exhibition details and pre-
registration facilities may be found at www.fastening-solutions-
