(January 14, 2008) Chroma Rotational Molding Division welcomes R. Dru
Laws on board as Director of Development. ¡§Dru brings a unique and
valuable skill set to the Chroma RMD family,¡¨ said Bob Swain, founder of
Chroma Corporation. Paul Kinsella, General Manager, said ¡§Dru¡¦s
background and experience in combination with Chroma¡¦s industry leadership
is a winning combination. Having Dru as part of the team will permit
Chroma to service the industry even better than before¡¨.
R. Dru Laws graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in
Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics. He then graduated with honors
from the Queens University of Belfast with an MSc in Polymer Engineering,
with emphasis in Rotational Molding. Laws is also pursuing to become
certified as a 6ċ Black Belt in Quality. He has several patents
pertaining to rotational molding and has guest lectured at several
universities on the same subjects. Laws has actively served within the
SPE and ARM organizations, with regular contributions at conferences and
magazine publications. With recent responsibilities as Director of
Engineering for SimTek Fence (formerly Mity-Lite), Laws has assisted in
developing award winning products and innovative process improvements in
the industry.
Chroma Rotational Molding Division, a division of Chroma Corporation, was
created by founder Robert Swain and currently offers the rotational
molding market a broad product line of color ready to mold compounds, dry
colors, special effect resins, polyethylene foams, engineering resins,
granite like formulations, and customer focused rotational molding
compounds in four distinctively different forms; powder, pellets, mini
pellets and microspheres.
